What the well dressed NAACP member is reading in 1918 while waiting for the Sunset Limited to leave San Francisco for New Orleans

It's hard to describe how fun the internets have become. How fun is it that I can find an edition of the NAACP's magazine The Crisis for my character to be reading on the train in 1918?

Terrible for procrastination, but wonderful for research.
