whining again

I can't believe I've been working on this book for I think 6 years now--the longest I've ever spent on one project. Don't tell that to any prospective agents cause they don't want clients who they think will spend 6 years on every project!

I always learn some new writing technique with every writing project, but I can't even pinpoint one thing this time. I think I've learned a ton of new things. I think I'm much better equipped to start my new story... but I'm eager to start... but can't until this fricking thing is put to bed.

Rewriting is a wearying business...

Thank God for music. Sigh.

House of the Day -- wtf!
