Little Fernando went to the emergency room today (nothing too alarming, don't worry) and knew he'd wait a long time, so he ran off with my little kobo. And now he's hooked on Frederica! He's so cute the Little Fernando.
Mind you, I've heard of other stories of men running off with their sister's/wives' Georgette Heyers. And Fernando once in awhile reads romance novels and super enjoys them.

Not overnight. He got a piece of glass in his foot (some leftover remnant of something we broke once upon a time) and it wasn't big, but wedged in too deep for us to remove. He knew he'd have a long wait cause you get triaged to the lower depths of hell when you have a sliver! He waited 6 hours in emergency.

Oh, well, that's good. It sounds very unpleasant though.
Hence the Making Wife Wear Slippers or Sandals At All Times thing. Don't get married, it's like prison!! (Okay maybe I'm being a tad melodramatic... must find the perfect slipper now...)
